Project 3: Light
The objective of this project is to design a non-denomination chapel located here, on campus. It is to be a deeply spiritual place where all faiths feel welcome. It will be a place of worship and reflection. This will be accomplished through the use of light. The site will be chosen so as to be in the "public square".

Charles Edourad Jeanneret Gris aka Le Corbusier

Le Corbusier uses natural light to form spaces. Varying natural light is placed thoughtfully so as to create an ethereal atmosphere. The light streams in differently depending on the time of day or season.

Here in the church, the deliberate use of light creates a tranquil environment.
The Light Cannons in the side chapels. They are painted in warm tones and give an enchanting spiritual effect.
